From Malaga Airport

Take the motorway/autovia from the airport and follow signs to Almeria. 

For the first part you will be on the Malaga ring road then keep following signs to Almeria.  When the motorway splits, take the Almeria turning, NOT Granada. The sea should be on your right hand side all the way, so should your navigator! 

After approximately one hour you should have reached the exit 354 for Castell De Ferro. Exit the motorway and drive 2.5km down the hill to the Agip garage, where we will meet you.

Please do NOT try and find it on your Sat Nav, you will get lost! Please DO NOT GO TO RUBITE, we are situated in Barranco Ferrer, in a different valley to Rubite. Please set your Sat Nav to km 353 of the N-340, Gasolinera (Petrol Station) AGIP (Penebetica). 
 
Your house will be ready from 2pm on the day of your arrival, and must be vacated by 10am on your departure day.

Please email or call us to let us know roughly what time you will be arriving at km 353 of the N-340 (coast road), it helps us to plan our day and make sure somebody is in the village to meet and greet you.
 
If you are coming down from Granada, head for Motril/Almeria and come off the motorway at Castell de Ferro, the follow directions as above. 

If you are coming from Almeria, come off the motorway at Castell De Ferro, then follow directions as above.

From Almeria Airport

From Almeria airport, follow signs to Almeria/Motril/Malaga and head West. You should soon pass the city of Almeria on your left hand side.

Stay on the motorway until it ends at Castell de Ferro. Stop at the Agip garage on your right outside Castell de Ferro.  This should take you approximately one hour after leaving Almeria airport.     

The total journey time should be about 1 hour,  and the distance to the AGIP garage approx 120km. The AGIP garage is at KM 353 of the N340 (look out for the roadside Km markers on Spanish roads, they are useful when navigating). We will drive down and meet you at the Agip garage and guide you the last 7km to the village. Please do NOT try and find it on your Sat Nav, you will get lost! Do not go to Rubite, because it is a different valley to us.
